Tettau Strawflower Cup

This is a cup made by Tettau in the mid to late 19th century. Looks like they liked an old Meissen design so much so that they copied it :) Nice strawflower type decoration handpainted on the inside of the cup with a simple handle. The cup is marked with an underglaze blue T and 74' attached to that. Might stand for 1874 but I don't know about that. The cup is in OK condition with a long hairline that split down one side. Still a nice learning example and not a design I have seen before! The cup is 2 inches tall and 3.375 inches in diameter. Please e-mail me for more information or photos.

Price is $15
