Thuringia Puce Scenic Coffee Pot

This is a coffee pot and lid made by one of the Thuringia makers around 1780. Sadly it is unmarked which makes it a bunch more difficult butit is obviously from one of this area's makers. The pot has two handpainted scenes in puce that are quite nice as well as two small ones on the lid. Rose finial to the lid (which was restored/replaced)and some relief branch and leaf work to the handle and spout. The pot is in great condition except for the finial and some wear to the gold trim. There is also a small chip to the side of the spout which might actually be from the making since it is black and very irregularly shaped. The coffee pot and lid are 9.75 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $999
