Unknown Crinoline Lady Figurine

This is a superb Crinoline lady figurine made by an unknown but high quality maker in the 19th century. Likely either German or French it is superbly modeled and hand painted. The lady is wearing a fancy dress with some amazing floral trim to the front and a yellow lines purple flowy top with a nice design to that as well. A white cap on top of her head with a bow in it that has two strings going down the back. She is holding a mirror in her left hand. It is a very nice piece based on an 18th century original for sure. A stunning figurine when on display! Even the udnerside is fully modeled which is unusual - she is wearing yellow shoes with brown soles and a white skirt with a red line along the edge. The figure is in great condition with the mirror having been restored - could be improved upon an a chip to the bottom back edge of the purple gown. The purple gown has some wear to the high points as well. The figurine is 5.625 inches tall, 5.625 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. The piece is marked with an imrpessed number 3 as well as two dots and there is a spot on the other side where it looks like a mark was ground away.
