Unknown Soft Paste Knife & Fork Set #1

This is a knife and a fork set each with a porcelain handle likely made in France and definitely in the early to mid 18th century. If I had to make an educated guess I would say they were made by Mennecy . I could not find another set like it anywhere. Each handle is made of soft paste porcelain and has a superb relief design to it plus each is hand painted with two nice floral designs to the sides. The metal parts are original to the piece. The ferrules seem to be silver while the rest is steel. The two pieces are in superb condition with oxidation to the metal parts as shown. The fork still has its end cap while the knife has lost it which is really common so now there is a tiny hole at the end. The metal goes all the way through the porcelain handle as shown. The fork is 7.5 inches long and the porcelain part of that is just over 2.5 inches long. The knife is 8.875 inches long and the porcelain part of that is 3 inches long. Unusual in that the two handles are different sizes - meant to be this way. Neither piece has any markings on it. I have a second matching set if anyone is interested in a pair. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
