Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a cup / coffee can and saucer made by Royal Vienna in 1814. The floral painting on the set is very well done and it has a nice gold trim. I am a big fan of the handle shapes around this period as well :) The saucer is in perfect condition with the cup having a tiny knick to the top edge with a glaze line right under it but only on the outside and a glaze line parallel to the rim on the inside. Not sure why this is but neither is a hairline! A bit of gilding would perfectly hide the little knick and it would be a perfect set again or it can be left as is and display perfectly as well! The cup is 2.375 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Both are marked with the underglaze blue shield mark underneath as shown with a number 33 impressed in the saucer, a 47 in the cup and both with the year mark 814 for 1814. Also a line in the glaze under the saucer and a c in the glaze of the cup. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $449
