Rare Large Floral Vase

This is a very rare vase made by Royal Vienna in 1832. They must have not made many vases as I have rarely seen examples that were actually made at the real Vienna factory. A nice sized example that has a nice shape to it typical of the Biedermeier period. Urn shaped with a handle to each side and a square base. The piece is hand painted with a pansies flower design surrounded by gilding to the front and back with violets on white ground flanking them on either side. The rest of the vase is almost completely gilded with different tooled designs to the gilding around the neck of the vase and around the round part of the base. Each handle has a nice shape to it with a lady's head on the bottom terminals. It is an amazing example and like I said before vases by this maker are hard to find. A stunning example! The piece is in great condition with a spot to the round part of the base where the gilding was gone and it was gilded in to hide it better, A restored part to the lip of the bottom fo the main body where it meets the base. This could be done better but it is limited to one side and this can be turned to the back and then the vase displays perfectly. I am sure most of it is overkill in terms of regilding and the actual restored area is likely quite thin. Some general minor wear here and there but it's a superb piece for sure! The vase is 10.125 inches tall, 6.125 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. The bottom is marked with the impressed shield / beehive mark as well as the usual impressed numbers as shown including the year mark 832 for 1832 as well as 25 as shown.
