Schwarzlot Cup & Saucer

This is a cup and saucer made by Royal Vienna in 1789. It is handpainted in black with scenes of ruins in landscapes with people. Both pieces are also decorated with a puce trim which looks very nice. The cup handle is in the shape of branches ending in leaves. Both the cup and saucer are in super condition with almost no wear. There is a small chip to the footring of the cup mostly on the inside. A hairline to the very bottom of the handle but it does not affect stability of the handle. And two black firing spots in the saucer. The cup is 2.125 inches tall and 2.75 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. Both are marked with the underglaze blue shield mark as well as an impressed number. Impossible to read on the cup but looks like 89 on the saucer. Also an impressed 2 on the saucer and something like a 3 on the cup. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $749
