Farmer Figurine

This is a figurine of a farmer holding his sickle with the wheat by his side. The figure was made by Royal Vienna around 1760. He is modeled superbly with lots of detail and handpainted to perfection! He is dressed in pink pants, a nice white shirt with an orange vest, a green belt and a nice hat. He is in great condition but does have his flaws but displays superbly! His hat has a chip which was restored previously but has chipped again. His left arm was off and repaired using metal staples which were then covered up but someone has cleaned that off so it is visible again. Some overpaint remains in that area but I don't think there is more damage. The tips of the wheat by his feet and by his sides has damages as does his right thumb. All in all he is in good shape and a fun piece to look at for sure! The figure is 8.5 inches tall, 3.75 inches wide and 3.25 inches deep. Nice gold trim around the base typical for this maker! Marked underneath with the underglaze blue shield mark. Please email me for more information or photos.
