Fleur En Terrasse Pot

This is a superb small pot made by Royal Vienna in the 18th century. I think it is likely a coffee pot from a solitaire or tete a tete but it could be a hot water pot as well. Not sure. It is a nicely shaped piece with a superb handpainted fleur en terrasse design all around - something I ahve not seen by them. Nice gold trim especially to the top neck part and the lid which has a nice finial. The pot is in great condition with a chip to the bottom end of handle and a repaired chip to the bottom edge. The lid sadly was broken and relgued but is missing a lot of the inside parts. The piece displays superbly and is fine as is but a good restorer could easily bring it to perfection! The pot is 6.25 inches tall including the finial and 3.5 inches in diameter. The bottom is marked with their underglaze blue shield or beehive mark and an impressed number that is too faint to make out. Really a gorgeous piece and definitely a hard to find decoration! Please email me for more information or photos.
