This is a teabowl and saucer made by Royal Vienna in the 18th century - in 1781 to be more exact. Both pieces are handpainted with lots of detail with a Kakiemon design including a fancy plant and a bug. Gold trim and gold highlights as well and a flower to the inside of the cup. Both the cup and saucer are in perfect condition with some wear to the gilding. The cup is 1.875 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. Both are marked with the underglaze blue shield mark as well as the usual impressed and painted numbers of this period. Please email me for more information or photos.
