Potpourri Dish

This is a lidded potpourri dish made by the Royal Vienna factory in the late 18th century. It is handpainted with two large flower arrangements - one on each side as well as some smaller flowers. The lid has lots of 3D flowers on it with the holes hidden in between for the fumes to come out of. Also some nice gold trim and green vines going up the legs. The piece is in good condition with some chips to the flowers on the lid which is always the case if you even have the cover which is not common and the tip of one of the leaves going up the legs is missing. It is 6.5 inches tall and around 3 inches wide and deep. The dish is marked underneath with the underglaze blue shield mark often called a beehive, an incised 4, a green nubmer 74 and some other marks. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $499
