Street Vendor Figurine

This is a figurine of a street vendor (probalby fromthe Cris de Paris series) made by Royal Vienna in the 18th century. He is superbly modeled and was left in the white to show off the nice detail of this figurine. He is standing next to his backpack that has soap and ointments or makeup on it (at least that is my best guess) with a scale on the back part. He is in good condition with the thumb and index finger missing on his left hand and the pinky on his right hand. There used to be straps on the backside of the backpack but only the attachment points remain and most of the rest is gone now. Displays very well. A very nice early piece in amazing condition for being 260 years old. The figure is 6.75 inches tall, 2.75 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue beehive / shield mark and an incised number 5. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $749
