Gambling Chips Basket

This is a reticulated small basket made by Royal Vienna in the 18th century. It was used to hold gambling chips which are sadly missing in this case. The basket is handpainted with a gold flower and gold plus blue trim reminiscent of Sevres. The outside is highlighted with gilding as well. The piece in super condition with just a little wear. The basket is marked underneath with the underglaze blue shield mark as well as an incised number 7. It is 1.375 inches tall, 4.25 inches long and 3.25 inches wide.
