Violet Flower Scene Plate

This is a plate made by Royal Vienna in 1827. It is handpainted with a superb and detailed flower scene in the center of violets. About as real looking as it gets! Nice gold ring trim to the rim. The plate is in perfect condition with a tiny bit of wear but about as good as one could wish for! It is 1.125 inches tall and 8.25 inches in diameter. It is marked with the impressed shield mark, an impressed 827 as the year code, an impressed 37 and a triangle and the latin name for the flowers in the front - Viola odorata in black. An incised 3 in the glaze or something along those lines. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $699
