White & Gold Open Salt Dish

This is a great open salt dish made by the Royal Vienna factory in 1836. The piece is very well modeled with three figural legs in the shape of angel heads with their wings folded downwards holding the bowl up like a tripod base. The piece is handpainted with lots of gold detail. The piece is in great condition with just a tiny bit of wear. The dish is 2.875 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark often called a beehive , an impressed 40 and an impressed 836. Please email me for more information or photos.
