Vincennes Bleu Celeste Saucer

This is a rare saucer made by Vincennes in 1756. A very uncommon piece that is made of soft paste porcelain and hand painted with a nice floral arrangement in the the center as well as two more along the rim with rest of the cup having their famous bleu celeste ground color with some nice gilding on top. The piece is in perfect original condition with some firing flaws, etc. Perfect from the top with two small darker spots in the blue where there are flaws in the paste and the underside has some flaws in the center where the glaze didn't take perfectly or something attached itself during the firing, two spots next to each other on the side where the glaze didn't take and the paste was missinf a bit likely because and impurity fired away during the process and one area where the top layer was ground away - it looks like a bit of paint had gotten onto the side wall. All original issues that do not take away from the piece at all! The piece is marked with a blue interlaced LL mark with the date letter D and a painter's marks which isn't too clear and might actually be two separate ones. Definitely painted in Vincennes and all original! The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter. It came with a perfectly matching Sevres cup also on my site.
