Vincennes Mercury Figurine

This is a figurine made by Vincennes pre 1750. It is of the god Mercury / Mercurius/ Hermes and is modeled superbly with lots of great detail! He has the characteristic wings on his hat and feet and is holding some sort of pouch in his right hand likely filled with coins as he was also the god of trade / commerce. A very rare and decorative figurine. All in white softpaste porcelain that has that charm no other porcelain comes close to! The figurine really is in superb condition for the age with the right wing on his hat missing, the left wing reglued and likely restored, some damage to the hat restored, the top of the money pouch missing, the wing on his right foot restored and broken again and three chips to the leaves / flowers though these are in amazing condition really! All in all no major damage and the bit there is would be an easy fix! A few minor manufacturing flaws as is common on any porcelain of this period. The figure is unmarked which is typical of Vincennes figures during this time period! It is 6.375 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4 inches long.
