Volkstedt Bird Saucer

This is a saucer made by Volkstedt in the 18th century. This saucer is handpainted with a scene of a bird sitting on a branch in a landscape surrounding in the center with a puce ring around the scene with a nice design to the top, three flowers along the rim and a nice black and gold design to the rim. The saucer is in good condition with some wear to the gilding. The saucer is marked underneath with the puce crossed hayforks mark as shown. It is 1.25 inch tall and 5 inches in diameter.
