Kati Zorn Clown w/Dog Figurine

This is a fun figurine made by Volkstedt in the later 20th century. Kati Zorn was born in 1962 and learned her trade at the famous Meissen factory after which she worked at Volkstedt for 17 years and since 200 she works on her own. The figure was modeled by the famous Kati Zorn and is of a clown with a little dog by his feet. The piece is nicely modeled and hand painted with just enough color to make this a very fun piece to look at. Nice triangular base with brown trim to the sides. The figurine is 7.875 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 3.375 inches deep. The piece is in perfect condition and marked underneath with the underglaze blue monogram used by them as well as some impressed numbers and artist marks as shown. The top back of the base has the artist name impressed into it. It does come with the original box which is unusual and a nice addititon. Please email me for more information or photos.
