Volkstedt Slop Bowl

This is a nice slop or waste bowl made in the Thuringia region most likely by Wallendorf or Volkstedt and definitely in the 18th century. It has a ncie shape to it and is handpainted with two nice polychrome floral arrangements on the outside as well as two smaller flowers and a small arrangement on the inside bottom of the bowl. The bowl is in perfect condition with some firing marks normal to these pieces. It is 2.875 inches tall and 6.375 inches in diameter. Unmarked underneath but between the painting style, the colors and the paste it has to be either one of these two makers! Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $599
