Wallendorf Brown Ground Cup & Saucer

This is a really nice cup and saucer made by Wallendorf in the 18th century. Both the cup and saucer have a hand painted under glaze blue design with a circular design in the center including a tree and a building and a strawflower type design around it and a blue trim to the rim. They both have the ribbed design to the paste that looks really nice and is quite common to makers in this area plus the bonus of the brown ground color on the outside / underside one rarely sees. All in all a superb set! The set is in perfect condition! The saucer is a bit over 1.125 inches tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. Both the cup & the saucer are marked with the underglaze blue W mark as shown as well as an impressed mark. Please email me for more information or photos.
