Wallendorf Nice Floral Pot

This is a really cute little coffee pot made by Wallendorf in the 18th century. The main body has a superb puce ground color to it which is very uncommon with three panels of polychrome hand painted floral arrangements on white ground with a nice gold trim around them. The lid has three smaller panels to match the main body. Nice finial and handle with gold highlights to them. Same with the spout. The lid and main body ahve been connected with metal mounts with a hinge which is a bit unusual but actually really nice. The set is in great condition with some oxidation to the metal mounts and a very minor touch of wear plus a few minor scratches to the puce ground colored in to hide them wellA couple of small firing spots normal to these early peices and the foot has a slight indent to it from when it was made. The piece displays perfectly! The pot with its lid in place is 6.75 inches tall, 4.625 inches from handle to spout and 3.25 inches in diameter. The pot is marked with the under glaze blue W mark as shown on the underside. Please email me for more information or photos.
