Wallendorf Neat Footed Dish

This is an interesting little porcelain dish made by Wallendorf of Germany in the 18th century. I am unsure as to what its purpose would have been and I have not seen one before. Like a nicely shaped little saucer with four little feet :) The piece is hand painted with the famous strawflower design or Strohblumen motif and has the typical ribbed design to the paste. This was a popular design back then and still today and used by many makers at some point especially in this region. The piece is marked underneath with an under glaze blue W as shown. The dish is in perfect condition which is always nice. It is 1.25 inches tall and 3.625 inches wide and deep. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $149
