Wallendorf Love & Friendship Cup & Saucer

This is a nice cup and saucer made by Wallendorf in the earlier 19th century probably around 1820. Not quite as nice as the original 18th century design but still very nice and with a nice message. The set is hand painted with a nice design of two doves on top of two smoking hearts on a pedestal. The cup has "Eternal love (Ewige Liebe) " written on in and the saucer "and friendship (und Freundschaft)". Nice gold trim as well. Flowers to both sides of the altar as well as scattered around the rest of the white area to fill in the areas nicely. Gold trim to the handle. The set is in nice condition with an underside rim chip to the saucer that is just barely visible from the top. The saucer is just over 1 inch tall and 5.25 inches in diameter. The cup is just under 2.5 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. Both pieces are unmarked but definitely from this maker and period. Please email me for more information or photos.
