Wedgwood Small Luster Bowl

This is a superb little dish made by Wedgwood in the early 20th century. These types of lusterware were designed by Daisy Makeig Jones who also came up with the Fairyland Luster. This bowl I think is probably part of the Dragon Luster line with the outside of the bowl being a purplish blue luster and the inside being a greenish tinge with a nice rim decoration in gold. The outside has some gold designs on it with a matching gold trim while the inside has a turtle in the center and a different gold trim to the rim. I am unsure of the purpose of this dish - I'd use it for soy sauce these days :) It is 1.125 inches tall and 3.75 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with just a tiny bit of wear. It is marked underneath with the Portland vase mark with three stars underneath, then Wedgwood and then Made in England. Also a gold Z4829 over F. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
