Wegely Slop Bowl

This is an extremely rare slop / waste bowl made by Wegely Berlin (predecessor of KPM ) around 1755. I have owned a few pieces by them but in terms of dishes this is by far the nicest one I have come across. Their wares are very very hard to find and rare. The bowl is hand painted with two larger floral arrangements as well as two single flowers along the outside and another single flower on the bottom inside. Very nice quality. The dish is in great condition with some wear to the flower on the bottom inside as shown. Display very nicely and there are no chips, restorations, etc. A rare survivor! It is 2.625 inches tall and just over 6.5 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with their typical odd three numbers system of 2 over 66 over 5 ash shown. Very typical way of marking their pieces for them! Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $2249
