Strawberry Dish Underplate

This is a dish that would have been an under plate for the strawberry / cress strainer dish I also have on the site. It was made by Worcester around 1770. The plate is decorated with a blue and white pattern called the pine cone pattern with a nice rim shape that has a blue line going along it plus five floral arrangements along the rim. The center has a large design including what looks to be pine cones and some flowers and leaves. The piece is in great condition with just some use marks to the clear glaze from where the straier would sit sort of like stacking wear. Only shows when held at the right angle to a light source. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crescent mark as shown. The piece is 0.875 inches tall and 8.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $199
