Herend Pot de Creme

This is a pot de crme or small lidded cup made by Herend in the 19th century. Unmarked but it is the most likely candidate from what I could find. The piece is decroated with a purple Indian flowers type design with a nice trim to the edges and fruit finial including its stem and leaves. The pruple color might be unusual since the piece seems to have been over fired so it was likely meant to have a different coloror shade of purple. Some signs of the over firing to the porcelain - some staining to the lid and tiny black spots to the inside of the main body, etc. The lid has a small chip to the edge mostly on the underside and a chip to one of the elaves of the finial as shown. Unmarked but that is not unheard of on their early wares. The cup with the lid in place is 3 inches tall and 2.5 inches in idameter. A bit of an odd piece with some issues but still nice. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
