Early Herend/Tata Teapot

This is an interesting teapot. I am unsure who made it - either Herend or Tata but it is certainly a 19th century piece. Tata was only a decorating studio that painted Herend blanks and some Czech blanks as well and since this piece is marked with an imrpessed T it couldn't have been marked by them!? Thus one would think it is an early Herend piece yet this T mark does not show up anywhere in my books! Either way it is certainly a nice teapot handpainted with two large floral arrangements as well as lots of small flowers, a ncie basket weave design to the top of the pot and the lid, a super flowes finial to the lid and a figural spout highlighted with gilding. The flowers are certainly those of Herend or maybe Tata but no one else. The main body of the piece is unmarked but the lid has an impressed letter T underneath. The teapot is in great condition with the tiniest bit of wear to the gilding. The inside rim of the pot where the lid sits has some bubbling and discoloration of the glaze from the making. The piece is 4.375 inches tall, 8.5 inches long and 5.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
