Herend Tray

This is a superb tray or serving platter made by Herend in the 19th century. It has a really nice shape to it with a basketweave rim design to the paste and is handpainted with lots of fruit , veggies , berries and bugs. They are of superb quality not like the newer stuff! There are even some bugs painted on the underside rim. Gold trim to the rim. The piece is in perfect condition. It is marked with the blue shield mark underneath, a blue letter S and impressed Herend. The platter is 1.125 inches tall, 10.5 inches wide and 9.25 inches deep.
