Tata Bird Scene & Puce Scale Plate #1

This is a small plate made by Tata in the 19th century. The factory in Tata was only a decorating studio that usually painted Herend and Czech blanks but in this case they are blanks made by KPM which I have not seen before. It was founded by Desider Fischer . The plate is nicely hand painted with a scene in the center of three birds in a landscape surrounding with a church in the background but my favorite part is the trim along the rim of a superb fish scale design in puce with some gilding along the edges. The dish is marked underneath with the monogramm TD over the underglaze blue scepter mark. Also some impressed marks normal to KPM pieces. The piece is in great condition with some wear to the gold trim of the outer edge. The plate is 1 inch tall and 6.75 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
