Tata Reticulated Scenic Plate #2

This is another superb reticulated plate made by Tata ( Ungvarer Porzellan- and Tonwaren AG ) in the 19th century. Probably the nicest plate I have ever seen by this maker. This factory produced porcelain with the help of Eugen Fischer but was only doing so until about 1913. The plate is nicely hand painted with a large scene in the center of a couple in a landscape surrounding but the best part is the superb rim design after the Bruehlsches Allerlei design at Meissen that was originally made for Count von Bruehl . It is heavily reticulated with three panels of polychrome flowers as well as three different designs highlighted with gilding. Really quite nice - the quality is good - not as good as Meissen off course but them again not many are :) The plate is marked underneath with the circular stamp in blue with the grapevines in it as well as an imrpessed number. The piece is in perfect condition with a little wear to the gold trim on the very edge. The plate is 1.75 inches tall and 10.625 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
